Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks for web-based applications • Design and execute automated test cases for critical user workflows such as registration, login, product search, cart, and checkout • Perform UI automation testing using modern frameworks • Implement API testing across REST services (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and validate responses • Conduct performance and load testing, including concurrent user simulations • Apply best practices such as Page Object Model (POM) to ensure reusable and scalable test design • Execute regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate application stability • Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for root cause analysis and resolution • Analyze business and technical requirements and provide early feedback on testability and quality risks • Maintain proper documentation of test scripts, frameworks, and execution results • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements in testing tools, frameworks, and processes

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong focus on automation testing
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as: Playwright (preferred), Selenium, Cypress
  • Strong experience in API testing and validation of RESTful services
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and defect lifecycle
  • Experience with white-box and black-box testing approaches
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and maintainable test documentation

Role Description We are currently seeking an Intelligent Automation Engineer to join our team in Remote, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX). - Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end UiPath automation solutions across insurance operations. - Build Agentic AI workflows capable of autonomous decision-making in underwriting, claims adjudication, and policy processing. - Integrate LLMs (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI) into RPA solutions for: - Claims document summarization - Policy document interpretation - Risk assessment support - Customer communication automation - Implement Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) for FNOL, claims forms, medical reports, KYC, policy applications, and invoices. - Develop automation for core insurance systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, etc.). - Ensure compliance with insurance regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, NAIC, IRDAI, FCA depending on geography). - Build scalable RE Framework-based bots with strong exception handling and audit trails. - Lead architecture discussions and mentor junior developers. - Collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and compliance teams. The Role in Brief: Senior QA Engineer (Cucumber & Behave) As a critical member of the performance technologies quality assurance (QA) team, the Senior QA Engineer is responsible for creating automated software test scenarios in an agile environment for functional, regression, and performance tests for web and mobile based applications.
