Design Engineer
CCI Systems
• Design site plans for OSP (Outside Plant) fiber and coaxial cable routes. • Understand survey field notes and sketches to create new or update existing designs using various software platforms. • Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings. • Generation of bills of materials, splice sheets, and other supporting documentation for design. • Complete assigned work while maintaining an elevated level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. • Work with project managers, design engineers, and QC team to meet deadlines. • Focus on productivity and accuracy of designs in a high production environment. • Adherence to customer specifications. • Complete assigned work while maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be able to design using ArcFM.
- Must have experience designing HFC.
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes in project scope and shifts in priority.
- Superior time management and attention to detail.
- Ambitious with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to navigate and pull data from multiple software programs at once.
- Strong knowledge of United States industry standards and regulations.
