Senior Systems Engineer

Fueled

• Own cloud infrastructure end-to-end: architect, deploy, and manage highly available environments across AWS and Azure • Serve as the Linux subject matter expert: own system builds, configure and troubleshoot core services like NGINX, MariaDB, and Redis • Operate the data and caching tier: run and scale MariaDB/Galera clusters alongside Redis, Memcached, and Elasticsearch • Engineer CI/CD and automation: build and tune pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps • Lead observability, security, and performance: evolve monitoring, harden infrastructure security, participate in incident response and 24/7 on-call rotation

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated senior-level experience in platform engineering or DevOps at scale or in multi-tenant environments
  • Strong hands-on experience in AWS and Azure (multi-cloud preferred; GCP and Oracle Cloud a plus)
  • Ability to set up, tune, troubleshoot, and harden Linux systems
  • Proven experience operating EKS/AKS
  • Experience managing production-grade NGINX, MariaDB/Galera, Redis/Memcached, and Elasticsearch
  • Advanced Python and/or Bash scripting experience
  • Experience building and tuning CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar tools
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to work well with clients
  • Availability for a 24/7 support rotation
