OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with utilities domain expertise to join our Mariner Innovations team full-time in support of a client-based project engagement in Atlantic Canada. This role will have a strong focus on Operational Technology (OT) environments, supporting technology used in plants, field operations, and asset-intensive utility sites, with a key mandate to improve alignment between operational needs, business objectives, and enabling technology. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:  - Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements within utility and operational environments. - Document current- and future-state process mapping, with particular focus on plant, field, and operational workflows. - Prepare Business Requirements Documents, including functional and non-functional requirements. Elicit and translate operational requirements into clear technical specifications (operations to technology alignment). - Collaborate in the development of test plans and test cases. Define reporting and alerting requirements supporting operational visibility and performance. - Prepare integration plans for deployment of system changes into existing operational and enterprise environments. - Help design, document, and maintain system and operational processes. Support change and transition processes for new technology delivery within operational sites. - Facilitate stakeholder sessions, interviews, and workshops with operational leaders, plant personnel, and field teams to identify areas for process and systems improvement. - Communicate key insights and findings to client teams and leadership stakeholders. WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:   - Post-secondary education in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution. - 5+ years of progressive corporate experience functioning as an IT Business Analyst or Functional Analyst. - Demonstrated experience working within utility environments (water, wastewater, or hydro preferred). The Area Business Leader (ABL) will lead a team of Neurology Account Specialists (NAS) that are part of a diverse team of professionals supporting this important launch and will be responsible for building a dynamic team to develop and execute business plans for their assigned geographies.  In this role, the ABL will have the primary responsibility of building an elite team of NASs and then leading demand generation in a manner consistent with the FDA-approved indication to meet or exceed sales objectives. This will be accomplished by conveying complex clinical information to customers and key stakeholders regarding FDA-approved indications of this novel therapy. The individual will implement and oversee local business plans to achieve regional objectives and will be required to be an expert on all aspects of Alzheimer’s disease and the competitive landscape in which they will lead. Additionally, the ABL will be responsible for ensuring their NASs educate customers on the simplest patient pathway to therapy within their assigned area.
