Sales Manager

• Own your territory: Manage and grow sales within your assigned region and segment, acting as a business owner. • Customer-centric mindset: Build trust-based relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. • Cash flow stewardship: Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable to ensure timely invoice payments. • Forecast with precision: Deliver accurate, data-driven sales forecasts and pipeline visibility. • Prospect boldly: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with agility and entrepreneurial drive. • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with segment managers, marketing, and operations to deliver tailored solutions. • Act with integrity: Uphold Bekaert’s ethical standards in all business dealings. • Be agile and bold: Adapt to market changes and take initiative to solve problems creatively. • Define and Execute account plans for all customers • New business generation and management of existing accounts • Maintain healthy order pipeline and visibility • Monitor accounts receivables and ensure timely payments, and stock programs (consignment) • Manage and service existing business to continually grow market share. • Travel throughout assigned region, upwards of 35% to 50% of the time. • Identify new opportunities within the region and capitalize on these opportunities. • Run regional business with an entrepreneurial mindset to expand revenue and profitability. • Establish and exceed yearly territory sales budget. • Prepare monthly forecast outlook for all accounts • Realize all segment standard gross margin expectations. • Price negotiation with customers, in line with pricing strategy set by Segment Management. • Reporting of competitor activity, territory forecast and relevant regional news. • Coordination of superior customer service with respective Customer Service Team. • Resolve customer complaints with collaboration of manufacturing and quality control departments. • Suggest new product innovations to successfully grow your business. • Launch new solutions with customers • Ensure long-term success for Bekaert through strategic partnerships and agreements

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree (preferably Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing)
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel upwards of 35%-50% throughout the assigned territory
  • Experience in the assigned market is preferred
  • Experience in steel ropes is preferred
