Role Description Addepar is scaling the Addepar Data Exchange (ADX)—our managed Data Lakehouse designed to modernize the global investment landscape—alongside our Premier Data Validation and Sandbox suites. We are seeking a quota-carrying commercial expert to serve as the technical spearhead for this ecosystem. You will own the 'Technical Win' and carry a dedicated revenue target, architecting data strategies that transition large-scale financial institutions from fragmented legacy silos to a unified, scalable infrastructure. Your goal is to solve the industry’s most expensive problem: data integrity. By leveraging automated validation to ensure high-fidelity reporting and Sandbox environments to de-risk complex migrations, you aren't just selling software; you are re-engineering the data backbone of global wealth management. What You'll Do - Product Expertise: Develop in-depth, technical knowledge of product features, benefits, and applications to serve as the go-to expert. - Market & Product Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to guide product improvements and GTM strategy with marketing, sales, and product team. - Sales & Marketing Support: - Collaborate with sales/marketing teams to create promotional materials, deliver product presentations, and assist with sales closures. - Work closely with GTM sales to identify opportunities with both new and existing clients; Drive technical strategy for complex data migrations and Lakehouse adoption. - Create & articulate compelling value propositions that address our clients' specific needs. - Manage and forecast sales activity and opportunities using Salesforce. - Training & Enablement: Create training materials and conduct sessions for internal teams (sales, customer service) and external partners. Help educate the GTM teams on successful use cases, wins and losses, and upcoming product features and functionality. - Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to understand needs, provide technical support, and resolve issues, directly impacting customer experience. Support existing clients deriving value from the product and ensuring their use cases are captured. - Product Lifecycle Management: Work with design and engineering teams to oversee product development, enhancements, and launch activities. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. - 10+ years of experience in Fintech or Financial Services, with a background in individual quota-carrying roles across Enterprise Data or Infrastructure Sales. - Technical-Commercial Fluency: Expert at navigating the financial data landscape; able to translate data workflows and integration requirements into Data Lakehouse architecture solutions for business, operations, and technical stakeholders that enable high-velocity decisions. - Commercial Ownership: Proven ability to lead the "Technical Win" and hit revenue targets within complex, multi-stakeholder institutional sales cycles. - Infrastructure Displacement: Experienced in transitioning firms from fragmented legacy silos to modern, managed infrastructure (ADX). - Data Integrity Advocate: Focused on solving data challenges by positioning Automated Validation as a mission-critical tool for operational efficiency. - Migration Strategist: Skilled at using Sandbox and Testing environments as commercial levers to de-risk enterprise-scale migrations and neutralize technical objections. - Product Contributor: Ability to synthesize market intelligence to directly influence Product and Engineering roadmaps. - High-Stakes Communicator: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical "plumbing" into a compelling commercial ROI for C-suite stakeholders. - Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills: Ability to quickly build trust and strong relationships with internal stakeholders- sales, deployments, CSMs, PMs, designers, and engineers. - Client-centric: A genuine interest in delivering results for customers. - Self-starter that can both identify and solve problems. - Analytical ability - Be entrepreneurial by taking a data-based approach.
