Manufacturing & Documentation - Produce and maintain production ready manufacturing drawings, applying expert level GD&T, tolerance stack‑ups, materials, finishes and inspection quality requirements. - Design parts and assemblies with strong consideration for DFM/DFA, fabrication methods, welding, machining and final assembly. - Support prototype builds, pilot production and manufacturing issue resolution through rapid design updates and documentation corrections. - Ensure designs support repeatable, high‑yield manufacturing across multiple sites, suppliers, and production volumes. Cross Functional Technical Collaboration - Work closely with electrical engineering to coordinate mechanical electrical interfaces, routing paths and packaging clearances. - Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, quality and production teams to address build issues, component changes, and all feedback. - Provide technical input during design reviews, release readiness assessments and product change discussions. - Contribute to the refinement of CAD standards, modeling practices and documentation quality through hands on execution.
