FinTech Supervisor
UPS
Role Description The Financial Technology (FinTech) Supervisor manages the daily support and maintenance of the financial systems. This role supports UPS users globally and serves as liaison between users, technical support teams, and developers for system enhancements and production issues. The FinTech provides system requirements, designs and develops logic, and tests enhancements for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications as well as projects. This position may supervise specialists and administrative assistants along with other supervisors in the UPS FinTech department. The FinTech Supervisor also establishes policies and procedures regarding administration of these applications. This position communicates with users and recreates issues in a test environment to obtain detailed results and determine root cause of issues. In this role, the FinTech Supervisor provides the IT department with detailed descriptions to reflect system issues. Responsibilities and Duties - Leads workstream or small level projects within a program - Coordinates and collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure timely execution of key deliverables - Documents and submits business requirements - Reviews and analyzes business requirement requests to determine validity and feasibility - Configures, tests, and deploys functionality within the Oracle ERP of Cloud applications - Performs extensive data mining and analysis using SQL & Excel to research and determine the source of errors - Conducts and analyzes regression and user acceptance testing to ensure quality assurance - Designs, develops, and tests new project requirements - Provides internal customer systems support - Oversees production environment, processing, and maintenance Knowledge and Skills - Captures/documents specific and accurate information; learns subjects thoroughly and in detail; completes work with thoroughness; supplies appropriate details when requested; maintains organized files; works well in a team environment - Demonstrates a general understanding of technology used by the company; communicates basic technological concepts and terminology; applies standard technology in daily work Qualifications - Required - Must have a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or be a current UPSer with three years of experience - Possesses ability to perform data analysis and reconciliations - Demonstrates intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills - Displays technical aptitude to quickly learn internal and external systems - Shows general knowledge of the Oracle EBS and/or ERP SaaS applications licensed by UPS for the Finance function - Preferred - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, accounting systems, information technology or related field - Capable of creating SQL queries to obtain data required for analysis - Knowledge of general accounting concepts - Project Management experience - Supervisory Experience Additional Information - This job is a grade 20E - The last day for internal candidates to apply for this position is 3/22/26, 11:59 PM EST - Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,560.00/year in our lowest geographic market up to $130,800.00/per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to market location, and may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. - Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position.
