You’ll also: - Enable our teams to leverage industry best practice and ship value to customers at pace - Work collaboratively across the business to resolve technical issues - Work with stakeholders across the business to shape the future of engineering at NatWest Boxed and put the long-term interests of our customers at the heart of key decisions - Proactively identify key operational issues, partner with engineering teams to resolve them, and drive continuous improvement of operational hygiene The skills you'll need You’ll need a strong background in software engineering, software design and architecture, as well as extensive experience of developing software in a SOA or micro-services paradigm. You should also have proven technical leadership experience for one or more teams and a background of implementing best practice, especially around scalability, availability and performance.
