Banks Valuation is a national residential real estate appraisal firm serving lenders, homeowners, and businesses. As the Head of Talent & Development, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and developing our panel of licensed residential appraisers. This position is responsible for leading recruiting efforts, onboarding new hires, and ensuring appraiser quality during their initial integration. This role is designed to grow with the right person, offering a clear path to Director of Talent & Development, with the opportunity to build and lead your own team as the company scales. Key responsibilities include: - Manage end-to-end recruiting for licensed residential appraisers across active and target states, from sourcing through signed offer. - Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates to support business growth. - Design and execute a structured 60-day onboarding program covering orientation, platform training, workflow expectations, and early-order support. - Review initial appraisal reports from new appraisers, provide coaching on quality standards, and determine readiness for full panel integration. - Own the first 60 days of each new appraiser’s experience, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to company standards. - Collaborate with growth leadership and other stakeholders to continuously improve recruiting and training processes.

• Lead the platform that powers AI-generated images, video, audio, and more across Canva • Build the core services that power generative media across Canva • Drive model integration, vendor orchestration, and inference infrastructure to enable fast, reliable onboarding of new AI capabilities • Optimise cost, latency, and performance across multi-modal AI systems (image, video, 3D) • Partner closely with Applied ML, product, and platform teams to deliver scalable, high-impact AI solutions • Coach and grow engineers, building a high-performing team with strong platform and ML infrastructure expertise • Set the technical vision and engineering strategy for AI Media Platform as Canva scales its AI capabilities

• Leads a team of Systems Engineers supporting U.S. Federal Government customers • Applies deep subject matter expertise, leadership, and operational discipline to guide technical sales strategy • Accountable for team performance, technical strategy, resource alignment, and contribution to business results • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across Army and Navy organizations • Serve as an executive-level technical leader for critical deals, customer escalations, and strategic engagements

• Lead the technical strategy and product architecture while remaining actively involved in development. • Responsible for evolving the platform from an estimation-based model into a data-driven product, with a strong focus on data ingestion, AI integration, and scalability.
