Role Description We’re looking for a Senior SEO Manager who will own end-to-end organic search performance for a portfolio of B2B clients. You’ll serve as the directly responsible individual (DRI) who translates SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy into deliberate, well-researched plans that help clients hit measurable business outcomes while also elevating our standards for execution, documentation, and client communication. This role is fully remote, ideally your timezone is within +/- 4 hours of GMT. This role is not for you if… - You’re a junior SEO who wants to step into a senior role. We’re looking for someone with existing, provable senior experience. - You don’t have experience delivering impact across on-page, off-page and technical SEO. - You don’t have experience being the directly responsible individual (DRI) for multiple accounts at the same time. - You are uncomfortable being client-facing. - You’ve only worked with very large Enterprise brands where things are slow. What you’ll do: - Own end-to-end roadmaps and performance for a portfolio of B2B client accounts - you're the directly responsible individual (DRI). - Lead execution and oversee SEO and AEO strategy in coordination with a team of specialists: onboarding, audits, strategy development, plan building, technical fixes, on-page optimizations, content direction, off-page presence building. - Lead client calls and communications; build trusted relationships with stakeholders ranging from Content Manager to VP/CMO-level. - Monitor and report on organic performance across traditional search and AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) using Discovered Labs’ own software and technologies. - Elevate internal standards: improve templates, SOPs, reporting, and documentation as you go. Qualifications - You like data. You enjoy digging into numbers to understand the cause and effect of performance. - You have high agency. If you discover a broken process or problem you seek to fix it. - You’re a team player. SEO is so much more than just content, audits and backlinks. - You’re tactical and strategic. You’re comfortable speaking with VPs and CXOs. - High marketing IQ. You think like a marketer, not just an SEO. Requirements - Existing senior experience owning end-to-end SEO performance (not just task execution). - Demonstrated impact across technical, on-page, and off-page SEO (the bigger picture). - Experience being the directly responsible individual (DRI) for multiple accounts at the same time. - Comfort being client-facing (leading calls, handling comms, and building trust with stakeholders up to VP/CMO level). - Ability to translate SEO/AEO metrics into executive-ready narratives tied to traffic, pipeline, and revenue. - Strong documentation and process improvement habits. - Agency background with multi-client portfolio management. - Familiarity with B2B SaaS. Benefits - $50,000 to $85,000 annual salary depending on relevant skills and experience.
