Integration Engineer
Guidehouse
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of data integration solutions within Palantir Foundry and related data platforms. • Architect and implement end-to-end data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery of structured and unstructured data. • Develop and maintain ontology models, data schemas, and relationships to support analytics, search, and operational use cases. • Integrate data across multiple systems and platforms (e.g., cloud storage, APIs, analytics environments) using scalable and secure patterns. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, analytics, product, and security) to ensure seamless system interoperability and data consistency. • Implement data validation, quality assurance, and governance processes (e.g., completeness checks, schema validation, metadata integrity). • Support development of AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., semantic search, entity resolution, analytics) by enabling high-quality, well-structured data pipelines. • Operate within an Agile delivery model, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, user story development, and iterative delivery of technical solutions. • Translate business and mission needs into technical requirements and scalable integration designs. • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and audit requirements, including role-based access controls, logging, and data protection standards. • Drive technical design decisions, mentor junior engineers, and act as a technical lead within a matrixed team environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, system integration, or platform engineering roles.
- U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (required), including:
- Building and managing data pipelines
- Ontology/data model development and relationship mapping
- Integration of data across multiple systems
- Experience with Palantir AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) (required), including development or support of AI-enabled workflows (e.g., search, analytics, decision support).
- Experience integrating Palantir with AWS cloud services, including S3-based ingestion, APIs, and serverless/data processing services (e.g., Lambda, Glue).
- Experience working with Databricks and Apache Spark for scalable data transformation, enrichment, and analytics workflows.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, and strong SQL skills for data transformation and querying.
- Experience working with both structured and unstructured data (e.g., documents, images) to support analytics or AI use cases.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schema alignment, and metadata management across integrated systems.
- Experience implementing data quality, validation, and governance controls.
- Familiarity with cloud security and access controls, including IAM, encryption, and audit logging.
- Proven ability to lead technical workstreams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across cross-functional and matrixed teams.

• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IT infrastructure and integration for technically complex projects and tenders. • Work closely with the Middle East Sales Team, building a trusted technical relationship with customers. • Actively engage with the Sales teams to support them in their deals and proposals. • Follow a standard procedure to validate and qualify opportunities from a technical IT perspective. • Drive the technical relationship with customers, ensuring alignment between their IT requirements and Submer’s technology roadmap. • Create and develop technical IT proposals detailing server, networking, and communication system integrations. • Review, validate, and provide preliminary IT architecture designs, ensuring proper integration between Submer’s solutions and the customer’s IT ecosystem during the sales process.
• Lead product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with clients. • Perform detailed analysis of client needs and design security solutions accordingly. • Collaborate closely with account managers to create tailored proposals and support the sales cycle. • Work with technical teams to address and resolve specific security issues raised by clients. • Customize product configurations and solutions to meet complex client requirements. • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and competitor offerings, providing insights to sales teams. • Provide training and mentorship to junior solutions engineers (Solutions Engineer I). • Conduct site surveys and security assessments for potential customers. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
