Role Description We are seeking a Project Manager to add to our growing team. This is an exciting role for someone looking to grow their career with a growing company. This role would provide a wonderful opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects across the US. What you will do: - Be a leader in delivering traffic engineering for our public and private clients. - Manage traffic engineering projects and ensure quality of products and conformance to budget. - Prepare and/or review traffic design and construction documents for traffic signal, roadway illumination, signing and pavement marking based on the state of Florida and national standards. - Conduct and/or oversee traffic modeling including traffic forecasting, travel demand modeling, and microscoping (VISSIM/CORSIM) modeling. - Perform traffic engineering and safety analysis and develop technical memorandums. - Supervise the work of other engineers and technicians. - Business development: pursue new / further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends. - Actively participate in the preparation of proposals. - Develop action plans to identify potential opportunities and track progress. - Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value added services to your clients. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited school. - 8+ years of experience with traffic engineering and related design packages. - Florida PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months. - 2+ years of experience working on Florida projects. - Preferred: PTOE and RSP certifications. - Excellent communication and technical writing skills. - Experience with design/analysis software packages including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, CORSIM. - Remote work available, must reside and work from Florida.
