What You'll Do As the Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager, you will be at the center of financial integrity and compliance, leading high-impact accounting initiatives that shape how Edmentum reports, plans, and grows. This is a role for someone who thrives on solving complex accounting challenges, driving accuracy across financial reporting, and mentoring others to elevate team performance. In this role you will: - Perform complex and high-risk areas of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across journal entries and account reconciliations. - Research and document the proper accounting treatment for complex transactions related to areas such as revenue recognition, business combinations, capitalized commissions, stock-based compensation, lease accounting, and internal-use software. Implement new accounting standards and align accounting policies with US GAAP. - Lead interim and annual audit processes, coordinating cross-functional support and serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors. - Prepare lender reporting packages and respond to internal reporting requests with precision and clarity. - Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures for annual reporting requirements. - Mentor accounting team members on US GAAP compliance and recommend best practices for internal controls. - Collaborate across teams to resolve challenging accounting issues and drive continuous improvement. Who You Are - You have a bachelor's degree in accounting (required) - You hold or are pursuing a CPA designation (preferred) - You have advanced knowledge of financial accounting concepts and US GAAP - You bring 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, ideally including public accounting - You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal - You are proficient in accounting software and financial management systems - You have intermediate to advanced Excel skills - You are analytical and a creative problem solver - You have experience preparing financial statements and disclosures - You are a skilled mentor who supports the growth of team members - You have a proven track record in audit coordination and support - You are willing to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs Job Application Deadline: May 7, 2026 Pay range for this role: $125,000—$140,000 USD At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency.
