In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities: Manage construction projects with full ownership from initiation to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution ensuring alignment with expected cost, schedule, and quality. Oversee and coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure project deliverables are met holding all team members accountable to scope, schedule, and budget expectations. Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements. Demonstrated experience in estimating and forecasting construction project build-out costs, including developing budgets and managing cost projections throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare, issue, and review bid packages for projects, abstracting bids, ensuring the selection of qualified vendors and contractors while identifying scope gaps or cost-saving opportunities prior to award. . Maintain tight budget control, forecasting, and ensure effective cost management for all projects. Create and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying and mitigating risks to keep projects on track. Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards, building codes, and regulations. Monitor job site progress through regular site visits and meetings to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications. Document and maintain detailed records of all project processes, timelines, and costs. Provide aggressive follow-up and coordination to address delays, resolve issues, and drive schedules forward. Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance project delivery. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and successes on a weekly basis. Other projects and tasks as assigned by department head and/or manager. QualificationsWhat You Have Done: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 2 years of commercial construction project management experience. Experience with Monday.com software or demonstrated willingness and ability to quickly learn new project management tools. Advanced knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, construction terminology, and industry standards. Experience managing fast-paced construction projects with a hands-on, proactive approach. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often at different stages and in various locations. Exceptional budgeting and financial management skills with a keen focus on cost controls and reducing project costs. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs. Experience leading or supporting competitive bid processes. Preferred background in design, with the ability to review plans for constructability, coordination, and alignment with budget and operational requirements. Proven ability to lead or support value engineering efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality, functionality, and brand standards.
