THIS IS A 2-MONTH CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT WITH POTENTIAL FOR LONG-TERM Job Title: Project Biller Job Description The Project Biller will support a civil engineering firm by helping reduce aged Work In Progress (WIP) and a backlog of past-due invoices through timely, accurate invoicing and follow-up. This role will review WIP aging reports, prepare and submit client invoices in accordance with contract terms, and work within client billing portals to ensure invoices are properly uploaded, approved, and processed. The Project Biller will coordinate with project managers to resolve billing holds, assist with follow-up on unpaid invoices, reissue corrected billings as needed, and help accelerate collections with the goal of improving cash flow and clearing outstanding invoice backlogs. Responsibilities - Review WIP aging reports and prepare client invoices. - Submit invoices in accordance with contract terms. - Work within client billing portals to ensure proper processing. - Coordinate with project managers to resolve billing holds. - Assist with follow-up on unpaid invoices and reissue corrected billings. - Help accelerate collections to improve cash flow and clear invoice backlogs. Essential Skills - Experience in billing and collection of past due accounts. - Proficiency in working within client portals. - Experience in the AEC industry. - Ability to create pivot tables and Vlookups in Excel. - Proficiency in Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint. - 3+ years of project billing experience within an AEC company with revenue over $75 million. - 3+ years of experience collecting on past due balances. - 3+ years of experience working within vendor portals. Work Environment This position offers a fully remote work environment, allowing you to work from any timezone.
