As a Web Development Intern, you will work closely with our development team to assist in creating and maintaining web applications that enhance learning experiences for students and educators alike. Responsibilities - Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications - Collaborate with senior developers on project requirements - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions - Test and debug web applications to ensure functionality - Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving issues - Stay updated with emerging web technologies and trends - Contribute to project planning and estimation activities Requirements - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment - Good communication skills, both verbal and written - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies - Prior experience in web development projects is a plus

• Build and maintain high-quality, performant front-end applications • Develop SSR-based web experiences with a strong focus on speed, scalability and SEO • Integrate and manage content-driven experiences using a headless CMS such as Sanity or similar platforms • Partner closely with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver user-facing features from concept to launch • Translate design and content requirements into reusable, maintainable front-end components • Improve site performance, accessibility and overall user experience • Help define front-end best practices, architecture and development standards • Support experimentation, testing and optimization across web experiences

• Development of sophisticated, high-performance, and responsive Single Page Applications (SPA) using React and Vite • Design and implementation of modern user interfaces with intensive use of DevExtreme React Components and SCSS • Integration of REST APIs (via Axios/MSW) and management of application state using Redux Toolkit • Use of professional tooling to ensure code quality (TypeScript, ESLint, Prettier, Husky, Commitizen) • Analysis and optimization of frontend performance as well as ensuring high usability and cross-browser compatibility • Maintenance, further development and continuous improvement of existing frontend applications, including analysis and optimization of frontend performance

• Lead the design and evolution of scalable frontend architectures across our monorepo. • Own and improve build pipelines, bundling strategies, CI/CD processes, and testing infrastructure. • Drive migration strategies for legacy systems and reduce architectural complexity. • Improve performance, bundle size, build health, and test reliability. • Mentor engineers, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and raise frontend quality standards. • Collaborate with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to balance platform thinking with product delivery. • Represent frontend engineering in strategic technical discussions and roadmap planning.
