SUMMARY The Associate Business Performance Consultant (ABPC) is a sales role designed for individuals with 2+ years of successful selling experience who are eager to advance into a consultative sales career. This position participates in an 18–24-month development program to learn the Insperity business model, solutions portfolio, and consultative selling approach. Upon successful completion, the ABPC will be prepared to transition into a Business Performance Consultant (BPC) or equivalent role within the sales organization. The ABPC is responsible for driving business development for Insperity’s Middle Market, Enterprise, and HRScale solutions while actively building the skills and knowledge required for future advancement. Responsibilities - Completes all required training and development activities within the 18–24-month program. - Meets or exceeds minimum acceptable sales and activity levels as defined by leadership. - Prospects relentlessly to build and maintain a pipeline that supports monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives. - Partners with training resources and BPC team members to learn best practices for prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales. - Cultivates and builds strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders who can influence business opportunities for Insperity. - Develops and manages relationships with prospects and customers to ensure satisfaction and create a foundation for referrals. - Educates prospects on the benefits of Insperity’s solutions through compelling articulation of our business model and value proposition. - Builds and enhances business cases for prospective customers that reinforce Insperity’s market leadership position. - Demonstrates progressive mastery of consultative sales skills and Insperity’s solutions portfolio. - Achieves readiness for transition to BPC, BPA, District Manager, or Regional Manager role within Insperity. - Partners closely with BPC team members to learn the business, shadow client engagements, and assist in closing sales opportunities. - Ability to work in a rapidly changing, team environment. - Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team of sales, professional services, legal, and finance to close a sale that meets the financial needs of both the customer and the company. - Ability to coordinate and work with extended team members particularly in a matrixed company and client scenario. - Ability to meet or exceed personal and team weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. - Demonstrated meeting facilitation skills; ability to conduct web conferences, phone-based interactions and face-to-face meetings. Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's Degree is desirable. - Two years of B2B selling experience is preferred. - Multi-year track record of successfully closing a high number of new Insperity Co-Employment customers, in a lead role, is strongly preferred TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Travels: Yes, up to 50%+ of time. Insperity provides a reasonable compensation range for each posted role in accordance with applicable pay‑transparency laws. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of job‑related factors, including skills, experience, and geographic location.
