Loggerhead
Role Description As part of Loggerhead’s Customer Experience team, the Inside Sales Agent will be handling calls and leads, consulting with customers on their insurance needs and matching the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert leads into customers. In this role, you will interact with our customers through calls, SMS, and email. You will be relied on to actively listen to our customers, use your experience, passion, and creativity to meet their needs and deliver a world-class experience across every interaction. A day in the life could include: - Work from home to drive sales growth for the organization by connecting with interested prospective customers via inbound and outbound calls, live chat, SMS, etc. - Serve as a trusted advisor by uncovering the prospect’s needs, identifying gaps in coverage, recommending solutions, and converting them into customers using a proven sales strategy. - Utilize your Personal Lines or Property & Casualty Lines license as a professional trusted advisor. Requirements - Knowledge of Homeowners Insurance Market. - At least 2 years of demonstrated sales experience in insurance, or similar industry required. Education & Certifications - HS Diploma or GED is required. - Hold an active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License upon hire. 20-44 or 2-20. Working Conditions - Normal business office environment. - Additional hours as required. - Travel: Minimum, as required. Role Description The Inside Sales Coordinator will act as the primary support for the Inside Sales team, manage customer relationships, process quotes, and coordinate orders. The role involves the coordination of the Inside Sales team and process. Key Responsibilities - Order Process Management - Shared responsibility with Cold Form Project Manager to mentor and train Quicken personnel, Dealers, and Customers. - Manage Order Process to include coordination of dates, calendar, confirmations, drawings, payment receipts, material ordering/acquisition, releasing jobs, confirming delivery, and ensuring all required documents are retained. - Assist the Inside Sales Representative by coordinating with Purchasing, Production, Shipping, and Finance. - Coordinate between Quicken locations to ensure inventory availability and timely delivery. - Collaborate with external stakeholders such as engineers and contractors. - Document each order from inception to completion and retain documentation. - Distribute website leads. - Shared responsibility with Cold Form Project Manager to track and report Dealer quoting activity. Upward reporting to management required on a regular cadence. - Customer/Dealer Support - Manage inbound inquiries regarding products, pricing, potential and current orders. - Engage in issues to ensure resolution. - Track claims for identification and trends. Report claims trends upward to management for analysis/review, identifying systemic issues and suggestions for resolution. - Act as point of contact for new and existing Dealers including requests follow-up, on-boarding, editing and sending contracts, handling questions or concerns, setting up dealers in ACT, training new dealers on ACT. - Act as liaison between Quicken Steel, Dealers and the ACT support team, transitioning and updates and market news to the proper channels. - Team Support - Position is required to work closely with and support the Director of Cold Form/Sales and the Cold Form Project Manager. - Position is required to serve as a backup to the Cold Form Project Manager and mentor/train any new incoming Cold Form Project Managers. - ACT Management/Forecasting/Finance Support - Assist the Director of Cold Form/Sales with the details of forecasted sales expected to be provided to Finance monthly for perpetual forecasting. - Work with the Finance team (Majestic and Quicken) on pricing – tracking, adding additional materials, managing pricing codes, etc. - Distribute ACT leads. - Shared management of the ACT program with the Cold Form Project Manager, providing details behind the forecast by period for Inside Sales. - Assist the Inside Sales Representative with ACT functionality, train as needed. - Track all ACT orders for Inside Sales. - Review and release of ACT orders. - Other duties assigned as Quicken Steel deems appropriate. Qualifications - Required - Strong experience coordinating and managing order processing. - Hands-on experience with Visual ERP and ACT systems. - Excel skills. - Preferred - Experience in steel, metals processing, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing. - Experience supporting multi-site operations.
