The Role This role owns and optimizes AmeriVet’s learning ecosystem, with primary responsibility for Workday Learning (AmeriVet Learning Hub) and the design of scalable, role-based learning experiences. This is not a coordination role. This is a builder + owner role responsible for: - How learning is structured in Workday - How users experience learning - How content is designed and delivered You will partner closely with L&D, HRIS, Operations, and clinical leaders to translate business needs into clean, scalable, and usable learning solutions aligned to real workflows. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: LMS Ownership (Workday Learning) - Administer and optimize Workday Learning (courses, offerings, assignments) - Establish and enforce build standards (naming, structure, templates) - Improve learner experience (navigation, discoverability, minimal clicks) - Partner with HRIS on security, homepage access, and enhancements Learning Experience & Instructional Design - Build role-based learning pathways (e.g. CSR, Tech, DVM, PM, Support Center) - Develop eLearning using tools like Articulate Storyline/Rise - Translate business needs into structured, practical learning solutions - Ensure content is usable, not theoretical Program & Content Enablement - Support onboarding, leadership development, and system training - Build workflow-based (“day-in-the-life") training - Ensure consistency and scalability across programs Measure & Improve - Track completion, engagement, and effectiveness - Support readiness tracking for key initiatives - Build reporting and dashboards in Workday - Continuously improve based on data What You Bring - Ownership mindset – this role builds and drives, not coordinates - Strong system thinking and attention to detail - Ability to translate business needs into scalable learning solutions - Strong communication and organization skills - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, HR, Organizational Development, or related field preferred Required Experience: - 2+ years LMS administration and instructional design - Experience building courses, assignments, and reporting in an LMS - Experience creating eLearning (Articulate or similar) - Strongly Preferred: - Direct Workday Learning administration experience - Experience establishing LMS standards and scalable structures Portfolio (Required for Consideration) - Submit examples of - eLearning courses - Instructional design work - Learning pathways/curriculum - Job aids or performance support tools This role is classified as Fully Remote and can sit anywhere in the US! We are looking for Full-time, Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) candidates to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team on the traveling Datacom Team, supporting air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Job Description: The RPO plays the role of the pilot and other controllers in the Air Traffic Controller training simulator. The RPO operates a combination of a simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate the actions and communication of pilots and remote ATC facilities during medium and high-fidelity training exercises. RPOs receive voice commands from students, input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions, translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology, and respond to the student via the VCS utilizing proper phraseology. The candidate will be required to complete the following certifications: Classroom (pass test on airspace and procedures) and Lab (perform as a Remote Pilot Operator on all positions). The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day. To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists.
