Functional Analyst

• Provide functional expertise and support for Jenzabar systems to client institutions. • Assist in the implementation and upgrade of Jenzabar modules, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions. • Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance on best practices and solutions for Jenzabar users. • Support clients with report generation, data analysis, and custom queries within Jenzabar. • Collaborate with client teams to troubleshoot and resolve functional issues. • Conduct training sessions and workshops for Jenzabar users, ensuring effective use of the system’s features. • Stay up to date with Jenzabar updates, ensuring clients are informed of new functionalities and enhancements. • Work closely with internal technical teams and client IT departments to ensure system alignment with institutional needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Jenzabar systems, including functional support, implementations, and upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of Jenzabar modules, including student information systems, financials, and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in higher education, particularly with small to mid-sized institutions, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering solutions to meet client needs.

Role Description The Senior Technical Analyst, Solar & BESS role will report to the Vice President, Operations, Solar/BESS within the Operations department providing technical oversight on existing control systems and networks. - Provide technical oversight, configuration and support of existing network security, network providers, and regulatory compliance collaboration. - Monitor and troubleshoot related control system performance. - Perform engineering, troubleshooting, and operation/maintenance-based tasks for solar and battery storage dataloggers and network devices supporting networked applications and UIs. - Work cross functionally with PMO, Technology, Asset Management teams and Contractors. - Serve as the primary point of contact for DAS and SCADA platforms of our commercial and utility scale assets in all stages of development and operation. - Review electrical, DAS, and SCADA documents for opportunities to increase functionality, minimum standards, and compliance with foreseeable requirements. - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as NERC. - Manage Documentation Control, Review and approve control diagrams, network topologies, point lists, and operational procedures. - Stay informed on emerging DAS, industrial protocols (DNP3, CAN, Ethernet, Modbus), and best practices in data automation. - Assist with technical due diligence for new assets being acquired or achieving permission to operate, including documentation. - Review the portfolio assets monitoring platform for completeness, accuracy, and opportunity to improve asset reporting on key performance indicators. - Proactively identify potential issues that could reduce data accuracy or integrity in respect to asset performance or production reporting. - Partner with the Asset Management team to identify opportunities to improve asset performance. - Implement updates and system enhancements. - Provide appropriate and timely technical guidance and troubleshooting on real-time matters relating to DAS, SCADA, and controls as requested from our technical teams, vendors, and contractors. - Coordinate with the Technology team on Operations Technology initiatives. - Manage and develop third party relationships and contracts specific to Performance Engineering, DAS, SCADA, Regulatory, and/or network providers. - Contribute financial and cost estimates for third party relationships and contracts specific to DAS, SCADA, regulatory, and/or network providers. - Refine, improve, and document departmental processes and procedures. - There may be occasional project-related travel for onsite objectives and industry events. - Other duties as assigned and in connection with our business evolution.
