Job Description Training: All new Faculty Members receive specific training from Walden University in the techniques of online teaching, use of an electronic learning platform, specifics of the policies, procedures, and degree programs of the School or College in which they are going to teach, socialization into the Walden University culture, assessment of the academic integrity of student work, and research supervision of theses and dissertations. Course Teaching/Availability: Faculty Members are assigned a course, which is taught using the Blackboard platform, and are responsible for interacting with students within this platform. Discussion Boards for classrooms are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Although postings to the classroom may be done at any time of day, they must be completed in a timely manner in accordance with the Faculty Handbook or other criteria established by Walden University. • Deliver individual and group therapy through a secure telehealth platform, providing vital support to clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. • Utilizes and promotes trauma-informed treatment through the provision of evidence-based practices. • Participates in developing the patient’s treatment plan and outcomes in cooperation with the treatment team. • Provides direct therapeutic services consisting of individual, group, and/or family therapy, dependent on the patient's needs. • Makes ongoing assessments regarding the patient’s progress in treatment and revises the treatment plan according to patient needs. • Completes clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner. • Establishes and maintains contact and relationships with referral sources related to patient caseload. • Provide crisis intervention, education, and long-term recovery strategies through virtual care. • Has insight into healthcare professional monitoring and boards.

• Schedule and coordinate 30, 60, and 90-day performance review meetings with RBTs • Ensure all required evaluation forms (self-assessments and supervisor feedback) are completed prior to meetings • Maintain an organized calendar and ensure evaluations are conducted on time • Lead structured evaluation discussions in a professional and supportive manner • Review and compare RBT self-assessments with BCBA supervisor feedback • Identify and address any discrepancies in scoring or perception • Guide constructive conversations around performance, strengths, and improvement areas • Create a positive and encouraging environment during evaluations • Ensure feedback is delivered in a clear, respectful, and constructive way • Build rapport with RBTs to support open and honest communication • Reinforce that evaluations are developmental and not punitive • Accurately document evaluation outcomes and key discussion points • Maintain organized digital records of all completed evaluations • Track completion rates and follow up on outstanding evaluations
