• Build and scale backend services using TypeScript / Node.js • Contribute to and maintain parts of the existing PHP/Laravel application • Develop product features and internal tools using React • Own initiatives from discovery, design, implementation, and rollout through to iteration • Work closely with Product, QA, and stakeholders to solve customer and business problems • Expand microservices architecture while integrating with existing systems • Help evolve a product environment where the monolith remains part of the landscape alongside newer services • Improve platform reliability, scalability, and engineering efficiency • Contribute to technical decisions, architecture, and coding standards • Help shape how products are built in a fast-moving environment.

Job Requirements

  • At Least 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
  • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Experience owning features or projects end-to-end in a product environment
  • Strong product mindset with the ability to understand user needs and business goals
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS (nice to have)
  • Ability to balance speed, quality, and pragmatism in delivery
  • Comfort working across legacy systems and modern architectures
  • Experience with PHP, ideally with Laravel (nice to have)
  • Frontend development experience with React (nice to have)
  • You are curious, proactive, self-driven, and enjoy solving complex problems
  • Based in Europe with the right to work in your country of residence.

Role Summary: We are looking for perception experts to join our team to advance the state of off-road autonomy. Experienced, well-qualified remote candidates able to work during Pacific Time Zone business hours will be considered. In this role, you will: - Design, prototype, and deploy perception/deep learning algorithms (e.g., object detection and tracking, surface reconstruction, visual odometry) that run real-time on our autonomous vehicles. - Identify, implement, and respond to meaningful metrics that affect vehicle behavior. - Support experimentation and integration of the perception stack with new sensors and configurations (C++). - Collaborate closely with experts across disciplines to work across the entire stack to improve the reliability and performance of the system.
