• We are seeking a site reliability engineer with a focus on data to join our dynamic team. As a Site Reliability Engineer at Clarity Innovations, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our products. • The Individual MUST have knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining observability and automation features for cloud based government systems. • The individual should have knowledge and experience in deploying or utilizing system and platform observability tools and identifying both cost and performance bottlenecks such as Elastic Observability, Prometheus/Graphana, AWS Cloudwatch/CloudTrail. • This labor competency is responsible to develop analytics based on artifacts, enrich data with various corporate sources, summarize data, and formulate results for downstream analytics and queries. • This competency is required to deploy solutions to customer supported tools to automate and enable data and metadata analysis. • As a technical leader, this role is responsible for assessing, creating, and improving the quality, performance and reliability of existing SaaS, WebApp, and COTS GIS tool deployments. • Leadership duties include mentoring junior engineers, advising the customer on technical solutions and interacting frequently with peer engineering teams to foster a healthy collaborative environment.

• Support and enhance Kubernetes-based workloads and platform services within AWS • Maintain and extend infrastructure managed through Terraform and Terragrunt • Continue modernization efforts within the Elastic Stack and Kibana environment • Develop and improve Python-based tooling for runtime visibility, auditing, and platform insights • Containerize applications and services, ensuring they are deployment-ready within the platform ecosystem • Work within and contribute to an existing CI/CD pipeline, supporting ongoing deployment and integration workflows • Assist with migration and decommissioning of legacy infrastructure and services • Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, and platform services, performing root cause analysis and resolution • Implement and support infrastructure automation and operational best practices • Contribute to platform and security modernization initiatives aligned with mission requirements and cost optimization goals • Collaborate with technical leadership and stakeholders as priorities evolve, ensuring alignment and forward progress • Document systems, processes, and solutions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure for our cloud-based platforms (AWS) • Create and automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Gitlab / Github Actions) • Build, maintain, and scale containerized applications with Docker and ECS/Fargate. • Ensure system scalability, availability, and reliability through proactive monitoring and automation. • Troubleshoot issues in both production and development environments. • Work closely with development teams to enhance performance, security, and maintainability. • Manage and optimize infrastructure as code.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. • Lead initiatives to scale and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient, automated, and secure deployments across multiple environments. • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain system health, availability, and performance. • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate platform best practices into application development and deployment. • Support and enhance Kafka usage for our event-driven services, focusing on reliability and throughput optimization. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the infrastructure, networking, and application layers. • Contribute to infrastructure as code practices using tools such as Terraform. • Drive cloud security improvements and ensure adherence to best practices in a regulated environment. • Create and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and operational best practices. • Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud services, and best practices, and drive adoption of relevant new technologies.
