About the Role: The Solutions Consultant plays a central role in leading the execution of our sales strategy, sitting at the intersection of sales opportunity, product truth, and customer reality. The SC acts as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects, a force multiplier for sales teams, a customer advocate, and a market and competitive intelligence sensor for BRM. They are subject matter experts who work directly with sales reps as the owners of solution positioning in the field and support the (pre)sales process. They also monitor the pulse of the market, provide feedback on trends and new opportunities for our product and strategic market planning teams, and deliver solution demos that connect our solutions to our customers’ pain points and desired outcomes. The Solution Consultant is a critical enabler of our success. This role supports our products and solutions for assessing small business credit risk, business fraud risk, business and business owner verification and business marketing. Success in this role requires operating with experience, influence, and authority in the business risk management space. This is a remote position open to home-based candidates located in any state in the United States, with a preference for Florida or Georgia based candidates. Responsibilities: - Support customer/prospect engagements by leading discovery calls to uncover true business risk, regulatory drivers, and economic pressures while providing expertise in demonstrating how our solutions meet their needs in a persuasive business case. - Support Sales teams with solution insight and product training, playing a key role in helping to shape deal strategies that guide toward winning outcomes. - Lead territory and account planning sessions with sales and sales leadership to identify whitespace, expansion paths, and competitive takeaway opportunities. - Track sales pipeline opportunity growth and progression through the sales stages. - Follow-up to ensure sales teams are actively pursuing opportunities, partnering closely to ensure field execution aligns with BRM strategy. - Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of customer/prospect objectives, goals, and needs, acting as a customer advocate to ensure product innovation is informed by real-world operational needs. - Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders and decision makers, influencing through credibility and insight. - Understands profit and loss analysis in the BRM industry and make sound solution recommendations based on this data. - Identify best practices and communicate them to internal stakeholders, including market planning, product management, and sales. Create best practices and elevate them across sales teams. - Work closely with Market Planning/Product Management in the development of tactical plans to ensure execution against the strategic plan/vision for each market segment. - Document and communicate to Market Planning new solution opportunity ideas obtained through interaction with customer and industry association engagements. - Comfortable presenting in person and via webinar to larger groups, industry organizations, conferences, and trade show audiences. Control the room during demos – guide conversations, challenge assumptions, and reframe risk as necessary. Translate technical capabilities into business risk narratives that resonate with potential and existing customers. - Maintain knowledge of the relevant government regulations as well as the current business risk evaluation processes. Raise the overall solution IQ of the organization. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business-related major or related experience is required. - 3+ years technical sales or project management/implementation experience is preferred. - 3+ years of experience in business risk management is preferred. - Demonstrated relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate and interact effectively with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to market planning, sales, batch and XML consultants, product managers, sales leadership and all internal customers is required. - Highly motivated and able to work independently. - Solid time management skills and strict adherence to timelines is critical. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint is required. - Smartdraw or Visio (or similar workflow software) experience preferred. - 25% or more travel is required.
