Lending Science DM

What you'll do Lending Science DM is seeking an experienced in-house Digital Marketing Manager to own and scale performance marketing for our financial services and insurance businesses and join our dynamic, remote-first team. This role is responsible for end-to-end digital acquisition strategy and execution, with heavy emphasis on high-quality form submissions and inbound call generation, supported by a robust email marketing and audience strategy across regulated financial and insurance products. The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, has experience in regulated verticals, and has directly marketed products such as personal loans, debt consolidation, auto, mortgage, Medicare Advantage, life insurance, property & casualty insurance, and similar offerings. This role owns the acquisition funnel from media planning and buying through landing page optimization, call tracking, remarketing, reporting, analysis, and budget management. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company that is a leader in the direct marketing industry as we expand into the digital marketing landscape. The Digital Marketing Manager will work directly with our teams to influence strategy and grow our digital marketing business. Our remote-first nature requires that the ideal candidate is capable of being extremely organized and comfortable working with distributed teams. - Performance Marketing Strategy & Execution - - Develop and execute digital marketing strategy for financial services and insurance lead generation. - Execute an integrated digital marketing strategy across paid media, email, remarketing, and owned audiences. - Align acquisition, retention, and re-engagement strategies to maximize lifetime value and lead quality. - Own consumer acquisition performance end-to-end, aligning channel strategy with lead quality, compliance constraints, and downstream outcomes. - Define KPIs, testing strategy, and scaling plans across all channels and products. - Paid Media Execution (hands-on, in-house) - - Plan, launch, optimize, and scale campaigns across: - - Google Ads (search, performance max, display, YouTube as appropriate) - Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram) - Supplemental platforms as needed (Microsoft Ads, programmatic, etc.) - Optimize campaigns for both form submission and inbound calls - Manage keyword strategy audience targeting, creative testing, bidding, and pacing - Oversee media buying across search, social, radio, and television, ensuring accountability and ROI - Email Marketing & Audience Strategy - - Own email campaign strategy and execution across the lifecycle, including: - - Lead nurturing and Follow-Up - Callback and abandoned form programs - Re-engagement, retention and cross sell - Build and optimize compliance-ready automation workflows by product and lifecycle stage - Lead audience development strategy, including first party lead lists, database segments, site and call-intent audiences, remarketing and suppression logic - Forms & Call-Driven Lead Generation - - Own acquisition across forms and inbound calls - Optimize call focused campaigns, extensions, routing and attribution - Partner closely with sales, account management and technology teams to improve lead handling and conversion - Media Buying - - Manage and optimize media buying budgets across search, social, email-supported efforts, radio, and television - Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders while maintaining strict performance accountability - Website, Analytics & Optimization - - Consult on marketing websites and landing pages, focusing on conversion, optimization, messaging, trust signals, disclosures, and compliance - Own performance measurement across paid media and email, including Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), call tracking, and offline conversion imports - Deliver clear, executive-ready reporting tied to outcomes - Budget Ownership & Forecasting - - Own and manage the digital marketing budget - Forecast lead, call, CPA/CPA, and scaling scenarios - Continuously reallocate spend based on performance and lead quality - Analyze campaign performance data to continuously optimize for ROI and efficiency. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals and strategies. - Manage budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve lead generation targets. - Stay updated with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge while meeting all compliance requirements. Who You Are - 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience in financial services and/or insurance - Direct experience with: - - o Medicare Advantage, Life Insurance, Property and Casualty, Insurtech - o Mortgage and lending products, Fintech - Proven success driving form fills, inbound calls, and email-driven conversion - Experience building and activating first-party audiences - Deep familiarity with compliance considerations for financial service and insurance marketing - Demonstrated use of a mix of digital channels (Social, Search, Display, Video, Native, OOH, etc.) - with preference to experience in executing, managing, and reporting on media campaigns with a mix of objectives/goals. - Must have experience buying media on a CPC, CPM, CPA/CPL basis - Self-starter with the ability to work independently. - Demonstrated ability to generate quality leads and calls internally through media buying strategies while staying within a constrained budget. - Excellent campaign execution skills with a knack for making data-driven decisions. - Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
