Job Title: Senior Recruiter (Offshore, Contract) Company: Proper Location: Remote / Offshore (U.S. EST hours required) Engagement Type: Contract Schedule: 30-45 hours/week Location: Offshore (Remote – must work EST hours) Reports to: VP of People Operations Experience Level: 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience About Proper Proper is transforming property management and investment through innovation, technology, and people. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Recruiter who brings strategic hiring expertise, executive-level recruiting experience, advanced proactive sourcing skills, and the ability to operate as a trusted partner to senior leadership. Property management experience is a plus. About the Role The Senior Recruiter will conduct full-cycle recruiting across corporate, operational, and executive-level roles. You will lead full cycle complex searches, including high-level executive and niche-profile roles. The ideal candidate has extensive experience recruiting for U.S.-based companies, understands executive search standards, and operates with professionalism, urgency, and discretion. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can bring structure, expertise, and leadership to the recruiting function. Key Responsibilities Executive & Niche Recruiting - Lead full-cycle recruiting for corporate and executive-level roles, including hard-to-fill and niche positions. - Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for specialized talent pools. - Conduct in-depth candidate assessments and structured interviews. Strategic Stakeholder Partnership - Partner directly with senior leaders and executives to define role requirements and hiring strategy. - Provide guidance on compensation benchmarks, market insights, and candidate expectations. - Manage competing priorities and ensure timely progress across multiple searches. - Maintain strong communication with stakeholders throughout the hiring process. Sourcing & Pipeline Development - Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools. - Build and maintain long-term pipelines for key and recurring roles. - Develop creative sourcing strategies for niche or competitive talent markets. Process & Data Management - Own candidate tracking within the ATS, ensuring data integrity and clean pipelines. - Meet recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, and quality of hire. Draft and manage offer letters, ensuring accuracy of compensation details, inclusion of required compliance language, and proper approvals prior to issuance

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications
  • 8+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience.
  • Proven experience recruiting for U.S.-based companies.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting executive-level and niche-profile roles.
  • Strong sourcing background with LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools.
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders and operating as a strategic talent partner.
  • Experience working within ATS platforms (Workable experience is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority searches simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and deadline orientation.
  • Ability to work EST hours consistently.
