IS Engineer – Citrix Specialist

• Own and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure, ensuring performance, availability, and compliance • Maintain the health and resiliency of Citrix environments, including Citrix Cloud and Citrix ADC (NetScaler) • Perform patching, updates, and system upgrades in line with enterprise change management policies • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving Citrix, user sessions, and backend integration • Serve as the technical escalation point for Citrix-related issues within IT operations • Document all configurations, SOPs, and architecture decisions to support audits and operational continuity • Collaborate with project and security teams to support deployments, audits, and lifecycle initiatives • Mentor support teams and transfer knowledge to ensure consistent support coverage • Monitor system alerts, identify systemic issues, and implement long-term corrective actions

Job Requirements

  • Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6-10 years of experience managing and supporting Citrix environments
  • Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Citrix Cloud administration and architecture
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex virtualization and connectivity issues
  • Experience implementing patch management, monitoring, and resiliency testing
  • Familiarity with security best practices for virtual environments
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, especially in a global team structure
  • Passion for continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence
  • Experience collaborating in regulated or GxP-compliant environments (preferred)
  • Certifications (Preferred): Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V)
  • Citrix Certified Professional – Networking (CCP-N)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

JOB SUMMARY: The Delivery Engineer | Splunk, will provide technical expertise in providing guidance on levels of effort for configuring, installing, and developing against Splunk: platform for operational intelligence. This position is a customer facing role and will be responsible for delivering project related consulting services to analyze the massive streams of machine data generated by IT systems and technology infrastructure—physical, virtual and in the cloud. Role Description We are currently seeking a Reverse Engineer with extensive data mining experience to join our team as an independent contractor. This is not an entry level role and you will be working to extract both static and runtime game data for World of Warcraft to help Wowhead to expand our current tools to aid our community of gamers. This position is a full-time remote as you will collaborate with the entire Wowhead team as we work together to deliver world-class products to our fans. Key Responsibilities - Manage development of the Wowhead Studio application, to facilitate datamined assets of creatures, characters, and other in-game objects. - Extract game data and game assets required to build tools to support our products and services. - Maintain Wowhead’s model tools using the site’s WebGL model viewers. TypeScript-based standard viewer used in most of Wowhead website. - Use C++ web assembly-based viewer that is faster with accurate lighting, for various World of Warcraft Player Housing pages. - Use JavaScript-based Three.js model viewer. - Maintain comprehensive technical documentation on game data (contents, formats, change history), data mining tools and processes employed, and anything else related to the role. - Communicate consistently, clearly, and efficiently all assigned task progress, blockers, or any other role-related issues in a prompt and professional manner on a regular basis. Qualifications - Previous hands-on experience doing data mining work on World of Warcraft and/or Diablo IV. This is not a “learn as you go” type of role; we operate in a fast paced, highly competitive, and challenging environment. - Comprehensive understanding using various programming languages (such as C++, Python, C#, TypeScript and JS) in order to choose the best tool for the job. - Understanding of various debugging, reverse engineering, and custom made tools to accomplish assigned tasks. - Ability to read and comprehend x86/x64 assembly language, such as via IDA as this role is not solely a “file format” data mining role. - Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. - A collaborative mindset; ability to collaborate remotely and coordinate with stakeholders across different time zones. - Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high quality work utilizing your analytical and problem-solving skills. - Being experienced in Blizzard games will make it easier to understand project requirements and the consumer side.
