Sales Security Engineer – Public Sector

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical or pre-sales role
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or vendor-specific certifications
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP and network security concepts
  • Experience with enterprise-class operating systems at a user or administrative level
  • Basic knowledge of major cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Ability to understand and explain how to assess vulnerabilities and attack paths across IT, Cloud, and converged OT/IoT infrastructure
  • Ability to maintain records of activities, including scopes of work, issues, solutions, and next steps
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed within your territory (up to 25%)

This role serves as a senior advisor to CISOs, architecture leaders, and risk executives, helping organizations design and execute comprehensive cryptographic programs that address current operational and regulatory requirements while building resilience against emerging quantum threats. The ideal candidate blends deep cryptographic expertise across key management, PKI, encryption operations, and post-quantum cryptography with consulting leadership and business acumen to translate complex cryptographic challenges into actionable, risk-based strategies.
