• This person, together with the team, will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the communication bridges with the banking system (high-availability systems), ensuring seamless integration between our partners and internal systems.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable features for a critical Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform using Ember.js (v6.6) on the frontend and Node.js with Hapi on the backend. • Develop and optimize microservices to handle complex audit workflows, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting, ensuring high availability and data consistency. • Design efficient database schemas and complex queries using PostgreSQL and Sequelize ORM to support large-scale enterprise data. • Maintain a high standard of code quality by writing comprehensive automated tests using Vitest and Mocha for unit testing, Ember Exam for load balancing, and Playwright for end-to-end (E2E) verification. • Manage containerized environments using Docker and maintain build/deploy pipelines via GitHub Actions within an AWS cloud environment. • Collaborate with product owners to translate complex GRC requirements—such as SOX compliance rules or third-party risk logic—into robust technical solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Middle Backend Engineer, you’ll build the infrastructure that lets AI agents read, reason, and act on real energy data — connecting LLMs, APIs, and live data sources into production systems that run 24/7. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Build production backend systems connecting LLMs and coding agents with data and product APIs; - Design and deploy microservices using Python and optionally TypeScript; - Develop data connectors to external portals and public data sources; - Design backend infrastructure enabling AI agents to operate across data systems; - Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems; - Implement observability and CI/CD pipelines for monitoring and maintenance; - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.
