You must be very comfortable and confident doing cold calls - indeed you must love it! • Refine our outreach strategy: Using data and insights, you'll continuously improve our approach, experimenting with messaging, channels, and engagement tactics to maximize impact. • Collaborate with the team: You'll work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts, share feedback, and ensure we're reaching the right people in the right way. • Grow yourself and others: We're big on learning and development. You'll have the opportunity to sharpen your sales skills, share best practices, and contribute to building a world-class growth function. • Shape how we scale: Bring your experience building outreach processes and systems to help us refine our SDR engine as we expand our consulting service lines and client base.
Job Requirements
- Mastery: Experience in B2B sales, ideally in ideally SaaS or construction tech. You understand how to engage decision-makers and guide them through a sales process.
- Communication: A confident and engaging communicator. You know how to make complex ideas simple and compelling. You're comfortable talking to both hands-on construction teams and senior business leaders, and you build relationships through a humanistic, empathetic approach - because our customers aren't just numbers!
- Leadership: You take ownership. You’re unafraid of rejection, don’t take “no” as the end of the conversation, and you enjoy experimenting with new ways to connect and add value.
- Impact: You can read between the lines, spot opportunities, and adapt your approach based on what's working. You don't just book meetings - you open doors.
- Nice to Have (If you don’t have it now you will after joining):
- Mastery: Experience with full-cycle/360 sales exposure. If you're not an expert in construction or digital project delivery yet, you will be! We'll give you the tools and knowledge to speak the industry's language.
- Communication: A master in the art of influencing and persuasion with an extensive network in the construction and/or tech start-up industries.
- Leadership: Early leadership or people management exposure - experience coaching or mentoring others. We're growing fast, and we want our best SDRs to step up and take on bigger responsibilities. If you're ambitious, there's a clear path to more.
- Impact: Beyond just hitting targets, you'll play a key role in shaping how construction teams adopt technology. The relationships you build and the insights you gather will help refine our approach and drive real change in the industry.

• Support the New York sales team in outbound prospecting efforts, including calls, emails, and research • Learn how to identify key decision-makers and build targeted prospect lists • Assist in generating interest in Popmenu by communicating our value to prospective clients • Shadow and gradually participate in outreach conversations with restaurant operators • Help schedule product demos for Account Executives by qualifying and routing interested prospects • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and client interactions • Collaborate with team members to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness • Participate in training sessions to develop sales, communication, and objection-handling skills
