Account Manager – Applied Microscopy
Danaher Corporation
• Take ownership of sales activities for microscopes and microscopy products across the cantons of Aargau and the Zurich region • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, as well as ongoing data maintenance, in the CRM system (SFDC) • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Service • Develop effective sales strategies and adapt solutions flexibly to address specific customer requirements • Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities, including potential new markets, to drive sustainable revenue growth
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Natural Sciences, Materials Science, or a related field (experience in microscopy is an advantage)
- Proven track record in direct sales and business development, preferably in a related industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at multiple levels within customer organisations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel to meet customers and prospective clients (~60–80%)
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Job Summary Responsible for managing customer accounts and delivering an excellent customer experience by building strong relationships and maintaining professionalism across all communication channels. Ensures accurate client records, takes ownership of performance through key metrics, supports team and company goals, and continuously develops skills to adapt to change and improve service quality.
