Role Description Our client is looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to support and maintain its Azure environment. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on cloud operations, DevOps tooling, and deployment, with additional involvement in supporting solutions built using Microsoft AI Foundry. The role requires someone who can step into a live Azure environment quickly, ensure operational stability, and contribute to the ongoing development of cloud and AI capabilities. You will work closely with the CIO and internal engineering team in a practical, delivery-focused capacity. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and support live Azure environments - Build, run, and improve Azure DevOps pipelines - Manage deployments and release processes - Ensure stability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure - Support the operation and deployment of solutions using Microsoft AI Foundry - Troubleshoot issues across the Azure platform and supporting services - Support onboarding and train/upskill junior engineers where required - Act as a practical, reliable delivery resource rather than an architecture-only role Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer - Solid experience with Azure DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines - Experience running and maintaining production Azure environments - Exposure to Microsoft AI Foundry or Azure-based AI platforms - Strong understanding of Microsoft-centric cloud ecosystems (Azure / MS365) - Senior enough to mentor others while remaining hands-on - Ability to step into an existing environment and deliver quickly Nice to Have - Experience working in secure or mission-critical environments - Infrastructure-as-Code exposure (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) - Experience supporting AI/machine learning deployment pipelines Application Process To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications for the role.
