DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Journeyman Electrician, you will: - Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and infrastructure in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. - Perform system inspections and technical assessments to diagnose electrical issues and implement effective corrective solutions. - Install and service industrial equipment, including DC power systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation. - Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and work orders to complete installations and repairs accurately and efficiently. - Communicate directly with customers to assess needs, provide technical recommendations, and ensure high levels of service satisfaction. - Work independently with minimal supervision while managing priorities, schedules, and project requirements. - Select, install, and maintain electrical components such as wiring, receptacles, panelboards, switchgear, and switchboards. - Supervise and coordinate internal teams and subcontractors performing installation or maintenance activities. - Maintain required tools, equipment, and standard replacement parts to support efficient field operations. - Monitor material usage and inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for ongoing work. - Accurately document labor hours, materials, and project activities for reporting and cost tracking purposes. - Ensure compliance with all company policies as well as federal, state, and local safety regulations. - Mentor and support apprentices and junior team members, promoting continuous learning and skill development. - Serve as the company’s qualifying representative for electrical contractor licenses across multiple states. - Travels 60%, as required. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma/GED - Completion of a relevant apprenticeship - Valid state license permitting practicing as journeyman electrician - Four years of experience as an electrician - Ability and willingness to maintain a valid driver’s license - Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word - Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time with overnight stays - Ability and willingness to obtain Electrical Contractor Qualifier Licenses or reciprocity in multiple states as required for OmniOn Power.
