Airbnb

• Work with cross functional partners (product managers, legal etc) to design and deliver high-quality products. • Create paved paths and best practices within the reviews, standards, and insights space. • Define technical strategy and lead the architecture, build, and launch of solutions for serving reviews flows and providing data to our users. • Work in areas outside of your usual comfort zone and show motivation for personal growth. • Influence and align stakeholders across teams and organizations on technical direction, goals, and roadmaps. • Build efficient and backend solutions that are reliable, performant and scalable. • Collaborate with team members and cross functional partners to define product definitions and roadmaps

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-time work experience in software engineering, information technology, or related domains.
  • Proven track record of defining technical direction and owning architecture for large-scale, complex production systems.
  • Ability to drive technical strategy and make architectural decisions that span multiple teams and systems.
  • Experience mentoring and growing engineers, and influencing technical decisions across teams and organizations.
  • Experience with service oriented architecture.
  • Experience with Agentic Coding tools
  • Proficiency in one or more backend server languages (Ruby/Java/Kotlin), and in popular storage systems such as relational databases, NoSQL and caching.
  • Breadth of knowledge in reviews and metrics domain is a plus
