Billing Clerk

• Verify accuracy of billing data, correct any errors, prepare and send client invoices • Review and enter vendor data and invoices for payment • Research, track, and resolve client accounting inquiries • Maintain and respond to vendor payment inquiries as needed • Prepare and send monthly client account statements • A/R follow up on delinquent accounts • Work with sales to ensure accurate client billing information obtained; that entries for billing are correct and uniform for client charges • Contact clients to obtain, verify, and update account information when necessary • Ensure uniformity of records between accounting software and project management software • General administrative accounting tasks as needed • Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
- A professional background (1-3 years) in any field (administrative, customer services, education, operations, etc.)
- Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
- Highly organized, with strong attention to accuracy & detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with time management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, dependable approach
- High School Diploma/equivalent with 2 years of relevant professional experience or an Associate Degree required
