Role Description Horizon Outdoor Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Paid Media Specialist for a 4-month engagement to support performance marketing across a portfolio of RV resorts, campgrounds, and outdoor hospitality properties. This role is focused on driving bookings and improving return on ad spend through expert-level execution and optimization of Google Ads and supporting paid channels. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within existing campaign structures to identify and implement performance improvements quickly. Core Responsibilities - Paid Media Strategy & Execution (60%) - Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns (search, display, remarketing, Performance Max) with a focus on driving bookings and improving performance. - Continuously refine campaigns, budgets, bidding strategies, and targeting based on performance data. - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support the growth of high-performing campaigns. - Support and optimize Meta (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns, including audience targeting, creative testing, and retargeting. - Align campaign execution with property-level demand, seasonality, and occupancy goals. - Performance Analysis & Optimization (25%) - Monitor and analyze campaign performance across Google Ads, Meta, and GA4. - Translate data into clear insights and actionable optimizations. - Track conversions and key performance metrics to improve campaign efficiency. - Support reporting and communicate performance updates to internal teams. - Collaboration & Execution Support (15%) - Partner with internal teams to align messaging, offers, and creative with campaign goals. - Assist in launching campaigns tied to promotions, events, and occupancy needs. - Help ensure landing pages and website experiences support conversion. - Additional Digital Marketing Support (as needed) - Assist with website updates to support campaigns, promotions, and conversion optimization. - Support content development such as blog posts or SEO-focused updates. - Contribute to broader marketing initiatives that improve traffic, engagement, and bookings. Qualifications - 2–4+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads, with a focus on search and conversion-driven campaigns. - Experience building and launching campaigns, including setup, structure, and ongoing optimization. - Strong experience with conversion tracking setup, validation, and troubleshooting across Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and GA4. - Hands-on experience using Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage tags, events, pixels, and tracking updates. - Experience optimizing campaigns for performance metrics such as conversions, CPA, and ROAS. - Working knowledge of Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads, including audience targeting and campaign management. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement optimizations. - High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Preferred - Experience in hospitality, travel, or booking-driven businesses. - Experience managing campaigns with seasonality or fluctuating demand. - Agency or multi-location brand experience.
