Job Summary The Analytical Lab, Project Analyst will manage multiple projects simultaneously within Quality Assurance. Formulate, plan, and execute completion of projects in conjunction with technical leads to targeted timelines in a manner compliant to applicable governance policies and procedures. Responsible for reporting status and critical issues to management. Provides analysis for project plans and schedules to identify critical path(s), optimize plans, facilitate discussions between team members. Prepares department-wide KPIs and other metrics and reports metrics to management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Works with internal and external team resources to drive completion of project milestones, as determined by the team, based on timelines and project goals through all stages of the project. - Develops technical knowledge, requires working knowledge and experience in project management. - Manages single workstreams locally/globally and may work across multiple workstreams. - Maintain clear communication paths with stakeholders. - Leads projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity to achieve milestones and objectives. - Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective using existing solutions. - Drives transparency of project workloads, financial, commitments, and expectations. - Maintains the project related data within the West Project Management System. - Monitors resource needs and issues, work closely with resource managers to develop action plans to ensure project commitments remain on track. - Manages project dependencies, escalating to the functional PMO as needed. - Analyzes, Forecasts and Reports the project budget. - Ensures projects are planned properly, including financials, resourcing, scheduling, and the business case, in support of quality deliverables. - Defines, drives and manages change management and communications activities that support assigned projects. - Champions the functional process and methodologies as applicable to projects/project teams. - Executes on departmental strategy. - Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs. - Compiles KPIs and metrics from across all Quality Projects and reports on the data. Education - Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or other related field, preferred. Work Experience - 3+ years GMP industry experience required. - Knowledge and experience within their pharmaceutical/devices and general knowledge of related areas of project management preferred. - Knowledge of GMP requirements and demonstrated experience managing projects in the medical device and pharma manufacturing industries; knowledge of applicable federal and international regulations preferred.
