Your Role As a QA Engineer / SDET, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications through comprehensive automation and manual testing strategies. You will work closely with development and product teams in an Agile environment to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts covering functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end scenarios - Create and maintain scalable automation test suites for UI and API testing - Develop and maintain automated API tests to validate backend services, data integrity, and system reliability - Perform API automation using REST Assured for RESTful web services - Execute UI automation using Java, Selenium, and Playwright - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and gated deployments - Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment, following testing best practices and methodologies - Debug issues, analyze test failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects - Write and execute complex SQL scripts for backend data validation - Provide production support once or twice a month during weekends (shift‑based) Your Profile Experience - 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or SDET - Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Mandatory Skills - Strong experience in API and UI testing - Hands‑on expertise in automation testing with Java - Strong experience with Selenium and Playwright (frameworks should be scalable) - Hands‑on experience with REST Assured for API testing and automation - Good understanding of automation frameworks and test architecture - Strong knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM - Experience with Maven and GitHub Actions for automated testing pipelines - Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries - Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills - Good verbal and written communication skills What You’ll Love About Working Here We value flexibility and support our employees with remote work options and adaptable schedules to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
