Project Manager, P&C Claims Experience
Swyfft
• Manage all day-to-day project planning, execution and implementation for a large-scale claims management system. • Partner with internal and external teams and vendors to understand and effectively communicate the operational and technical requirements of the project. • Manage project expectations, requirements and deliverables by providing ongoing proactive communication, documentation and structured follow up to all project stakeholders. • Lead meetings and standups to ensure all project initiatives are moving forward; you set the pace, remove blockers and ensure project milestones are being met. • Plan and manage project resource allocation with various departments in the company. • Document detailed workflows and processes for internal team use that will be transformed into playbooks and reference guides for end user training.
Job Requirements
- Natural ability to establish trust with internal and external teams; you dig in, you learn the processes, people, and desired outcome of the project.
- Previous experience working closely with an insurer or insurance carriers claims team.
- You understand the lifecycle of a claim.
- You understand complex systems at a data flow level; bonus points for anyone who understands this at a programmer level.
- Exceptional problem solving, communication and organizational skills.
- Previous background integrating or using accounting and finance systems is a plus.
- Strong technical background that includes knowledge of different systems and how they integrate and work together.
- 7+ years of experience leading complex, large scale system implementations.
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required.
- PMP certification or other project management certification a plus.
- We’re a MS Office environment.
- Experience using video and chat technology (MSTeams & Slack).

• Lead cross-functional teams on various projects both using Agile and Hybrid methods. • Actively remove or facilitate the removal of impediments that block the progress of program or product delivery. • Support and educate the Product Owner and their teams to ensure a healthy Product Backlog. • Partner and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, vendors, and dependent teams. • Lead increment planning sessions to establish scope and build release plans. • Manage and facilitate cross-functional team ceremonies to support development and product releases. • Teams may be globally dispersed. • Champion and foster project change management processes and procedures. • Foster team accountability while ensuring the continual flow of high-quality value from the Release. • Ensure that projects follow standard operating policies, procedures, and best practices. • Assist in coaching leaders and scrum masters in lean or agile practices. • Exhibits a goal-driven aptitude to take on stretch goals and contribute towards firmwide Agile Transformation initiatives. • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, a pragmatic approach, and confidence to deliver projects in an environment undergoing significant transformation. • Creativity in problem-solving and communicating. • Self-motivated work ethic facilitation and managing activities throughout the various stages of the project lifecycle. • Pays attention to team needs and pivots his/ her approaches accordingly to support the delivery of business value.
• Responsible for your own safety, and shared responsibility for the safety of all Nextpower staff, contractors, and visitors to your project sites. • Read, understand, and comply with Nextpower policies and procedures as outlined from time to time. • Responsible for managing Projects from quotation through to completion and taking ownership of all aspects along the way (Pricing, coordinating logistics, Delivery or work, invoicing and closeout). • Coordinate and drive the successful on-time delivery of all products needed from PO to delivery, liaising with Design Engineering, Supply, Logistics, freight forwarders and the customers. • Manage Project profit & loss including revenue forecasting, invoicing, cashflow and cost management. • Provides technical support for NEXTracker customers, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience and providing product and systems expertise to the customer. • Oversee the safety of any staff engaged to deliver site-based work. • Play a key role in cross-functional product teams, providing recommendations based on systems integration expertise and customer needs assessment and feedback. • Supports product development, sales, and marketing as requested. • Internal customer voice, an advocate for the customer within Nextracker. • Establish, measure and report key performance indicators for customer care to drive behavior and performance. • Inspect, troubleshoot and repair Nextracker hardware and document findings. • Ensure a strong customer care experience and be able to effectively communicate resolutions for customer issues.
