IT Engineer

• Provide day-to-day support through the IT helpdesk • Manage access to SaaS systems, including regular reconciliation • Set up and manage email accounts, groups, and calendars (Microsoft 365, Active Directory) • Install, configure, and upgrade software for self-hosted systems • Perform server maintenance, patching, and upgrades • Monitor servers and services, resolving or escalating incidents as needed • Troubleshoot outages and prepare RFO (Reason for Outage) documentation when required • Support employee onboarding and offboarding IT processes • Collaborate with the wider IT and Security teams to document and improve internal workflows • Contribute to improving overall IT security hygiene and policies • Assist with hardware setup, maintenance, and asset lifecycle management • Plan and deliver IT assets to employees

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Linux administration, including RHEL/CentOS and Debian/Ubuntu
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Windows and macOS systems
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory
  • Good understanding of IT hardware and system maintenance
  • Strong spoken and written English skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and work collaboratively in a team
  • Nice to Have: Experience in an IT helpdesk or customer support environment
  • Exposure to virtualization platforms
  • Experience with technologies such as: Apache, Nginx MySQL, PostgreSQL Zabbix Puppet or Ansible Docker and Kubernetes
