As a Cost Strategic Program Engineer, you are responsible to enable Fab15 to set Best-in-Class performance on Cost metrics and transform the business to exceed Cost business plans and commitments. You will be collaborating with fab leadership team and network to manage and run vital yield projects and programs as well as escalating key program risk. Responsibilities and Tasks Program/Project management - Drive cost specific projects. - Collaborate with project teams to understand the business value of projects and programs in place and how they contribute to BIC plan. - Provide program and project performance updates periodically with communication across functional groups. - Ensure strategic roadmaps with key metrics for Cost are created, maintained, and tracked to latest BIC targets. - Visualize the progress of business plan achievement, and establish the meeting structure of appropriate leadership review and team meeting - Manage and control program changes including scope, plan, business rules, policies, and procedures. - Work with site leadership team to identify project risks and propose/execute solutions. Network Engagement - Represent your site on the assigned category in collaboration work with Frontend SPMO network, MCT, and SEAL - Ensure network BKMs and activities that are of value to your site are implemented - Work with the Frontend SPMO and network for comparative benchmarking and ensure projects are fast followed, copied and implemented on home site. - Work with Central team to develop and ensure key projects are executed on schedule, to planned scope, and within budget Requirements Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Science disciplines. Experience 2 years working experience in any of the following environments: - Frontend Fab Engineering perferably IE, PIE, PEE, ME - Business Analyst, Management or Finance - Demonstrated strong p rogram and p roject m anagement Qualifications - Strong analytical skills and capability to summarize complex information into simple explanations - Possess good teamwork skills and strong multi-tasking capability - Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision - Strong influencing skills and experience with driving cross-function group issues to resolution - Excellent written and oral communications skills - Able to collaborate freely and communicate openly and clearly with co-workers - Demonstrate excellent project/time management and priority setting skills - Demonstrated ability to partner successfully with other groups and build strong peer relationships - Able to perform and advise project stakeholders on risk and reward analysis - Experience and understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes and systems. - Experience working with global teams is preferred. - Relocation level: No About Micron Technology, Inc. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join Micron Technology Inc. Central Engineering (CE) - Product Yield Improvement (PYE) Engineering Team. As CE PYE Failure Analysis (FA) Engineer for Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for providing full fault isolation and failure analysis support for qualifications, customer returns, new device introduction, and general test failures. You will become the domain expert on fault isolation and physical failure analysis methods for any given electrical failure. As the CE PYE FA Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding all relevant physical analysis methods to isolate electrical failures by working closely with Product Engineering Teams. You will also have a detailed understanding of the product architecture, process flow, and test sequence to work with Process Integration, Product, Test, and Quality Reliability Assurance Engineering groups ensuring physical defect descriptions are classified. Responsibilities: - Advanced Electrical device characterization to identify electrical fail mechanism. - Operate fault isolation equipment to narrow failure defect location. - Perform physical failure analysis to identify physical defects. - Establish and hypothesize possible electrical or process fail mechanism based on electrical fail model and physical failure analysis characterization, to support process improvement. - Work closely with various stake holders from frontend to backend and Global Quality (GQ) department to resolve defectivity issues. - Prepare and present electrical and physical failure mechanism on a weekly basis. - Develop new fault isolation/physical failure analysis technique. - Be responsible for a team of CE PYE technicians. - Coordinate fault isolation tools/physical failure analysis tools to ensure high uptime.
