The role… The Business Development / Key Account Manager will be responsible for existing and acquiring new customers in North America. They will contribute and implement sales strategies for further entering the “IVD” and “Pharma” markets in North America; establish strong links between the headquarters in Switzerland and the production site in Saltillo, Mexico. How you’ll make an impact… - Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities to drive revenue growth across North America and Switzerland. - Manage and support existing customer relationships, serving as the primary commercial liaison between customers and internal teams. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers to expand business opportunities. - Contribute to the strategy and execution of market expansion within the IVD and Pharma sectors. - Lead and support the RFQ and quotation process, coordinating closely with cross-functional teams in Mexico and Switzerland. - Drive achievement of sales targets, revenue growth, and margin objectives. - Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform business strategy. - Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through lead generation activities, including trade shows, market research, networking, and outreach. What do you bring… - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, plastics science, or business administration. In lieu of a degree, extensive knowledge of sales at a management level. - 8 plus years relevant working experience. - Proven experience of defining and executing suitable strategies to expand business. - Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive results with minimal supervision. - Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills to effectively grow and manage customer accounts. - Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and senior leadership. - Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional partnership skills and proficiency in MS Office tools.
