Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Phone Receptionist and Admin Support Compensation range: $1,200 AUD - $1,600 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. Role Overview: We are looking for a Dental Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our dental clinic. This role involves answering phone calls, coordinating patient appointments, and managing follow-ups to ensure smooth and efficient patient care. In addition to reception duties, the role will also include providing administrative support to the dentists, assisting them with various tasks throughout the workday. Key Responsibilities: - Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and friendly manner. - Schedule, update, and confirm patient appointments. - Follow up on patient requests, treatment plans, and outstanding tasks. - Assist dentists by coordinating information needed for treatments and ensuring tasks and follow-ups are completed. - Provide administrative support to the dentists during work hours, including managing tasks, reminders, and documentation. - Maintain accurate patient records and update appointment notes as needed. - Support daily clinic operations by handling general administrative tasks. - Escalate urgent concerns or complex cases to the appropriate team member promptly. - Communicate with labs and suppliers to ensure smooth running of the practice - Check patients in via our online/video screen system and maintain schedule and calendar - Maintain todo lists and items for dentists and ensure dentists complete these tasks - Coordinate with other front desk staff to keep phones and front desk manned at all times - Check and respond to radios and online communication in a timely manner. - Provide assistance as required. - Be presentable and immaculate in appearance when on screen
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Customer Service, Administration, or Healthcare support is preferred.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic dental knowledge is an advantage but not required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage both reception and administrative duties effectively.
- Professional, patient, and empathetic approach when interacting with patients.
- Ability to work independently and support dentists with administrative tasks throughout the day.

- This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
