Partner Insights Project Manager

• Deliver regular business updates (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually), including performance tracking, trend analysis, and key insights • Translate data into clear and structured narratives to support stakeholder understanding and discussions • Highlight risks, anomalies, and opportunities based on data analysis • Support WW category team in ad-hoc data analysis or research requests • Conduct deep-dive analyses on business performance, programs, and key initiatives • Support stakeholders with data-driven insights and recommendations • Assist in defining and tracking key performance metrics (KPIs) • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting outputs • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual work • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical outputs • Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of data familiarity • Support alignment on data definitions and reporting standards

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or reporting roles
  • Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Finance teams preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to translate data into clear, structured insights
  • Strong Excel skills and pro for data manipulation and reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI or Tableau
  • SQL skills preferred for data querying and analysis
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to present insights in a structured and easy-to-understand way
  • Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional environments

Role Description Merjent, Inc. (Merjent) has exciting opportunities for Senior Project Managers with demonstrated success in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidates will join our existing Pipeline Sector working with clients to manage project teams for infrastructure projects in the oil and gas industry (oil, products, and natural gas pipelines; etc.). Technical knowledge of federal (including FERC), state and local permitting processes is required. This position requires experienced technical knowledge managing multi-component and sometimes complex projects that require federal, state, and local permitting of energy-related projects. This is a remote work position; however, candidates must be based in the eastern US, with preference given to candidates located in North Carolina and surrounding states. This is a full-time benefits eligible opportunity that can be based anywhere in the United States. The anticipated annual salary for this position is between $145,300 and $183,400 annually, depending upon qualifications and experience. These positions are also bonus eligible. Responsibilities - Serve as the Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for pipeline sector projects which may vary in size and complexity. - Work with other Pipeline Sector Project Managers to build and collaboratively manage project teams. - Effectively manage project budget, schedule and manage project risk through implementation of standard project management processes and tools. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. - Encourage leadership succession through team building, positive reinforcement, training, mentoring, and professional development and growth. - Work collaboratively with Company leadership to ensure project teams have the necessary staffing and tools. - Perform review of project-related deliverables to provide quality assurance and ensure client expectations are met. - Actively participate in the proposal process and development of Pipeline Sector projects, including marketing activities. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a natural resource/environmental field required. - A minimum of 10 years of experience or familiarity with permitting processes through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), federal land management agencies, State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPO), or other federal, state, or local regulatory agencies, with preference to work completed in the identified pipeline industries. - A minimum of 5 years of experience or familiarity with project management and/or deputy project management preferred. - Knowledge, interest, experience, and/or advanced degrees in environmental law, planning, anthropology/archaeology, hydrology, biology, wetland ecology, or other technical fields is a plus. - Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills. - Strong self-starter tendencies and excellent organizational/task management skills. - Able to adapt quickly and work well under pressure, both in large teams and one-on-one. - Able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Able to analyze, organize, and interpret data from multiple sources and translate that information into direct, easy to understand written deliverables. - Must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. - Proficient at the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); technical editing experience a plus. - Must be willing to travel domestically as needed (0-20%), depending on the needs of the project.
