YouTube Video Editor Full-Time | $100,000 – $110,000 | US Remote Snowball is looking for a YouTube Video Editor to help shape Monarch’s long-form video storytelling and bring clarity, pacing, and emotional intention to every piece of content. The Opportunity As YouTube Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for shaping raw footage into clear, engaging stories optimized for retention and trust. You’ll collaborate closely with producers, strategists, and creatives to ensure each video feels intentional, cohesive, and aligned with Monarch’s voice. This role is embedded with Monarch’s Creative team. Snowball serves as Monarch’s YouTube creative partner, leading strategy, creative development, and channel growth. You’ll collaborate closely with Snowball’s YouTube experts (27M+ subscribers, 110B+ views) to experiment with formats, refine storytelling, and build a channel grounded in trust and clarity. What You’ll Do - Edit YouTube-first long-form videos with strong pacing, structure, and narrative clarity - Shape stories that hook viewers early and sustain attention throughout - Collaborate with producers and strategists to refine story structure and creative intent - Create short-form cutdowns and variations as needed - Apply motion, graphics, and sound design to enhance clarity and comprehension - Maintain organized workflows to support consistent, timely delivery What You Bring - 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience (YouTube experience preferred) with a strong portfolio - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools - Strong storytelling instincts and understanding of YouTube retention dynamics - Experience editing educational, brand, or narrative-driven content - Detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable in fast-moving creative environments - A passion for Monarch’s mission and an interest or background in finance - Bonus: Experience editing finance, education, or explainer-style content The Perks - Work wherever you want!
