They will be responsible for strategic accounts and account/business acquisition in a defined category across all channels. They create and execute short and mid-term business strategies and performance according to the account plan (delivering the month, quarter, and year per plan). Will work with all levels of the organization and will be responsible for relationships with global, key account leaders. The Business Manager will: - Create and execute the account plan / own and manage requests for pricing / contracts - Be Responsible for contract execution and follow-up on end date - Monitor the customer's financial situation in order to safeguard the interests of the company - Adapt the mix of products to the real needs and potential of each market, aiming at the strategic interests of the company and customer satisfaction - Monitor the activities of the competition, aiming to provide the company with information - Define and negotiate prices to be practiced for each client / product - Identify opportunities to prospect commercial investments - Identify projects to convert other packaging materials to glass - Maintain the average payment term and default percentage of the segment within the company's goal - Provides input and educates product management, marketing, and manufacturing organization on customer needs and issues - Progressively responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and landing new customers / new business The Business Manager should have: - The ability to do lead adjustments as needed. Starts the commercial proposal process and supports the negotiation process as needed - The skills to Monitor the activities of the competition, aiming to provide the company with information - Previous experience Achieving sales volumes (EBIT, Revenue, Physical Volume) committed in the company budget - Extensive experience analyzing and validating sales forecasts - The ability to generate plans to ensure broad penetration into mid-level accounts within assigned territory - Previous experience generating, developing, and closing sales opportunities with a focus on the most profitable mid-level accounts - The skills to develop presentations to resolve/address customer issues Qualifications - Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred - 3+ years of sales industry or comparable experience - Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills - Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have Strong PC skills and ease of working with systems, with an emphasis on CRM platforms, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint and SAP - Ability to work independently without supervision, but also work well with the team and other departments - Good verbal and written communication skills - Self-motivated and self-disciplined TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: - Travel: 25% - 50% Additional Information What we offer at O-I: Salary Range: The expected salary for this position is around $88,000 – $140,000 and includes a possible 15% - 20% quarterly incentive bonus.
