Role Description The Audit Senior will play a critical role in engagement teams performing attestation engagements for clients in a wide variety of industries and of all sizes. Depending on the size and complexity of the engagement, Audit Seniors may lead the engagement team or function in a team led by an Audit Supervisor or Manager. Our attestation and assurance services strive to go beyond just a compliance function. We believe in strong client relationships and serve as a business advisor throughout the year. In this role, you must be comfortable working independently and collaborating on a team. The Audit Senior must be ready to be client facing at any time. • Play a key role in developing and running a timely and accurate monthly close • Support treasury management, monitor cash balances and partner with Finance leadership to flag risks and opportunities related to cash flow • Prepare and support quarterly tax payments and filings, coordinating with external tax advisors as needed • Own and prepare monthly bank reconciliations, prepare and review accrued expenses and related schedules • Manage prepaid expenses, including setup, amortization, and reconciliation • Prepare month-over-month (MoM) flux/variance analysis and supporting explanations • Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting • Maintain and update accounting documentation, including Notion pages, close checklists, and process guides • Ensure documentation is accurate, audit-ready, and consistently maintained

Role Description As a Senior Accounting Specialist at Uplinq, you’ll serve as the accounting lead for a portfolio of complex clients. This role requires strong technical skills, judgment, and the ability to lead client conversations confidently. - Own month-end close and financial reporting for complex client accounts using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Uplinq’s proprietary accounting system. - Prepare and document advanced journal entries. - Handle job costing, inventory tracking, and class/location-based reporting as needed. - Manage and troubleshoot third-party integrations. - Build and maintain client-specific SOPs, documentation, and QBO workflows. - Serve as the main point of contact for clients—leading calls, owning relationships, and resolving escalations. - Review junior team members’ work and provide clear, constructive feedback.
