Role Description The Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing projects within our Professional Services division. This position serves as the frontline manager on projects, and they must be able to discuss technical and non-technical aspects of projects with managers, technicians, customers, external constituents, and others. The position has overall responsibility for management, implementation, and tracking of short- and long-term service projects. This is a critical point position – acts as liaison to all departments, quick to anticipate issues, solve problems, and sets the pace, quality, and success of the project. The ideal candidate for this role will be capable of full-cycle project management, behave ethically, communicate effectively, create/innovate, foster teamwork, make decisions, organize, plan, and solve problems by following the Mirapath values: - Relationships Matter - Commitment to Excellence - Results Driven - Strive for Innovation and Knowledge Responsibilities - Project Management - Work closely with the Director of Services to manage project execution across departments for all phases: project kick-off, scope and requirements gathering, cost, scheduling (labor and timelines), materials coordination, and project risks. - Responsible for the daily management of assigned projects throughout the entire life cycle of the project. - Coordinate resources to ensure scheduling, procurement of materials, invoicing, and any other resources needed for successful implementation. - Coordinate team of technicians to ensure efficiency and completion of projects; track progress and quality of work being performed. - Proactively and steadily address challenges such as scheduling, material availability, special resources required, changes in scope, etc. - Proactively assess processes and department efficiency and recommend and implement improvements to drive results and department success. - Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. - Forecast and prepare reports on financial aspects of current and future projects. - Decision making as it relates to the overall quality and execution of the project. - Customer Engagement - Complete customer site walks and prepare comprehensive quotes/proposals for Services engagements. - Develop strong relationships with customers; effectively communicate relevant project information and timely updates to customers and serve as an intermediary between the company's sales and technical teams. - Internal Collaboration - Partner with Sales to respond to RFI/RFQ/RFP - Proactively scope Service delivery required to address customer requirements, assess customers' met and unmet needs, and recommend optimum solutions, ensuring appropriate support for the proposed service. - Collaborate with Sales, Technology, and Fulfillment to ensure feasibility of each project and deliverables. - Initiate change orders as needed. - Keep internal team informed about project status and issues that may impact project status and client relations. - Work closely with the research and development team of the Company, responsible for ensuring projects are delivered in a timely fashion in accordance with project requirements. - Escalate issues to Director of Professional Services, when necessary. - Secondary Responsibilities - Attend company meetings. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - 5+ years of Project Management experience. - College degree in a related field (Business, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Business, IT knowledge and experience working in professional services, technology, engineering, and/or construction industry. - Experience working with low voltage. Requirements - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. - Proficiency with CRM & ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. - Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment. - Self-motivated with strong initiative and attention to detail. - Excellent project management, planning, and problem-solving skills. - Thrives in a fast-moving, high-energy, and evolving environment, working under pressure and time constraints. - Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new situations. Environmental Phase I Report Writer - Prepares Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) with subject matter expertise of ASTM E1527, as well as client scopes such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, underwriting/debt level for lending purposes. - Preferable, but not required, to also have experience with writing Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) to ASTM E2018 scope of work, as well as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
