Position: Senior Frontend Developer Location: LATAM What you will be doing: We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React and Next.js, and hands-on experience building modern, scalable applications using serverless architectures. Although the deployment platform is Netlify, the ideal candidate should understand and work with AWS-like services such as object storage, serverless functions, APIs, monitoring, and email services. You will be responsible for delivering high-performance web applications, designing scalable frontend architectures, and integrating with backend services in a serverless ecosystem. Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of professional experience in frontend or full-stack development - Strong expertise in React and Next.js - Deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS - Experience building applications deployed on Netlify - Hands-on experience with serverless architectures and functions - Familiarity with cloud services concepts similar to: - Object storage (e.g., S3) - Serverless compute (e.g., Lambda) - API management (e.g., API Gateway) - Monitoring/logging (e.g., CloudWatch) - Email services (e.g., SES) - Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques - Experience with Git-based workflows - Working Knowledge of TypeScript Nice to Have Skills - Experience with edge functions and CDN-based architectures - Familiarity with headless CMS platforms - Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Soft Skills - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects - Leadership and mentorship mindset - Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality user experiences
