Lead Engineer, Sitecore
Rightpoint
• Operate effectively across project-based delivery and long-running managed service engagements • Serve as the primary technical lead across one or more projects • Collaborate closely with UX, design, content strategy, QA, and project management teams • Define system architecture, technical approach, and acceptance criteria • Facilitate sprint and iteration planning • Improve legacy Sitecore implementations through performance tuning • Mentor, coach, and guide developers • Conduct code reviews, enforce quality standards, and ensure deliverables meet project requirements • Partner with Project Managers and Account Managers to communicate technical complexities • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans • Support pre-sales efforts including renewals, expansion scopes, upgrade roadmaps
Job Requirements
- Significant years of relevant software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (MVC/Core), Next.js and web API development
- Proven experience designing and implementing Sitecore XP/XM/XM Cloud architectures
- Sitecore AI Suite Experience
- Experience implementing and configuring Coveo for Sitecore
- Experience configuring and maintaining Sitecore infrastructure (PaaS/IaaS)
- Practical understanding of DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps and Github Actions
- Strong front-end development skills including React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, SASS, Storybook
- Knowledge of Docker, AKS and Containerized Sitecore solutions/deployments
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- Previous consulting or digital agency experience strongly preferred
